HelpWire Leaves Early Access After Nearly Three Years

HelpWire has officially left Early Access, and our new paid plans are now live. Early access opened on October 19, 2023, so this release comes after almost three years of real-world use, product feedback, support tickets, bug reports, and detailed community discussions.

The HelpWire team is sincerely grateful to everyone who supported the product during this stage by using it in real support workflows, reporting issues, challenging decisions, and pointing out what still needed to improve. That process shaped many parts of HelpWire in its current form, from real production use to edge-case fixes and user-requested features.

Moving to paid plans is also necessary to support the product’s continued development, including ongoing engineering, infrastructure, security work, and future improvements.

What changes for accounts:

  • • Existing data remains in place. Session history, operators, clients, and devices have not been removed or reset. If any items are above the current plan limit, they remain available in read-only mode until the account is upgraded or the extra items are removed.
  • • Founders’ Free. As a thank-you for supporting HelpWire during early access, qualified accounts have already been moved to the Founders’ Free plan with 2 operators, 20 unattended devices, and multiple simultaneous remote sessions. An email notification should have been sent. If an account appears to qualify but still shows the Free plan, contact our support here.
  • • The Free plan remains available. It continues to allow commercial use, without nag screens or forced session cutoffs. Compared with early access, the plan now has narrower limits: 1 operator, 5 unattended devices, and 1 active remote session at a time.
  • • A Founders’ discount. Founders’ Free accounts that upgrade to Solo, Team, or Business within 6 months receive 30% off while the subscription remains active. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

This release marks the end of the early access period, but not the end of product development. The same practical focus remains: faster session starts, stable remote control, and fewer interruptions during support.

Full plan details are available on the pricing page.
