HelpWire now supports multiple active remote sessions

HelpWire now supports multiple active remote sessions per operator. IT teams can keep connections to several client devices open at once and switch between them without ending an active session.

Why it’s important

Before this update, each operator could connect to multiple devices and switch between them as needed, but only within a single client. Now, you can connect to more than one remote client at once, switch between them, and keep each session live without interrupting the others.

With multiple active remote sessions, an operator can:

  • • Open sessions to multiple machines in parallel, with each one active in its own tab
  • • Switch between sessions without closing or suspending the ones you’re not currently viewing
  • • Run an unattended session in the background while handling a live support request in another tab

Stay in touch

Multiple remote sessions follow recent updates, including Linux unattended access, role-based operator permissions, and two-factor authentication. Each of these helps IT teams that securely manage multiple endpoints, operators, and client environments from a single app. Follow us on social media and share feedback on the HelpWire Reddit page.
